September ,4th , 2018, a delegation headed by former foreign minister Mr. Seyed Ali Naghi Kharrazi of Iran visited SIIS, Professor Yang Jiemian, Chairman of Academic Affairs Council of SIIS met with the delegation and had a discussion on comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Iran, how to cooperate within the framework of Belt and Road initiative and multilateralism, Iranian nuclear issue etc. Assistant President YeQing, Prof. Wu Chunsi, Director of the institute for international strategic studies, Prof. Li Weijian, Prof. Jin Liangxiang, Ms. Liu Xin and Mr. Zhou Yiqi from the Center for West Asian and African Studies participated in the meeting.
