On November 15, 2018, SIIS President Chen Dongxiao met with Mr. Vladimir Norov, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Secretary General designate, former Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan, SIIS International Adviser. The two sides exchanged views on the SCO and China-Uzbekistan relations. Prof. Li Xin, Prof. Qiang Xiaoyun and Prof. Zhao Long from the Center for Russian & Central Asian Studies attended the meeting.
