On November 30, 2018, the delegation of the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam (DAV) led by Amb. Nguyen Van Tho visited SIIS. SIIS President Chen Dongxiao met with the delegation and exchanged views on China-Vietnam relations, Belt and Road Initiative and inter-connectivity, and regional security issues with the delegation. Dr. Wu Chunsi, Director of the Institute for International Strategic Studies, Dr. Zhang Yao, Director of the Center for Maritime and Polar Affairs and Dr. Xue Chen, research fellow of the Center for Maritime and Polar Affairs attended the meeting.
