On December 6, 2018, a delegation from the US media visited SIIS, which is composed of media professionals from NPR, Bloomberg, WSJ and the Cook Political Report etc. Prof. Yang Jiemian, Chairman of SIIS Academic Affairs Council, met with the delegation and exchanged views on China-US relations. Dr. Wu Chunsi, Director of the Institute for International Strategic Studies, Dr. Shao Yuqun, Director of the Institute for Taiwan, Hong Kong & Macao Studies, and Mr. Yang Li, research fellow of the Center for Maritime and Polar Affairs attended the meeting.
