On December 18, 2018, Mr. Rick Waters, the Political Counselor at the US Embassy in China and his colleagues visited SIIS. They exchanged views on China-US relations with Dr. Wu Chunsi, Director of the Institute for International Strategic Studies, Dr. Mao Ruipeng, research fellow of the Institute for Global Governance Studies, Dr. Xue Chen from the Institute for International Strategic Studies and Mr. Yang Li, research fellow of the Center for Maritime and Polar Affairs.
