On January 23, 2019, Ambassador Hinrich Thölken, Special Representative for International Digitalisation Policy and Digital Transformation of the German Foreign Ministry and his colleagues visited SIIS.  Dr. Ye Qing, assistant president of SIIS and director of the Institute of Foreign Policy Studies met with the group.  Dr. Lu Chuanying from the Institute of Global Governance, Dr. Wang Yuzhu from the Institute for World Economics, Dr. Feng Shuai from the Institute for International Strategic Studies, Dr. Xue Lei from the Institute for World Economics, and Mr. Zhou Yiqi from the Institute of Comparative Politics and Public Policy Studies participated in the discussion on the development of digitalization in China and the impact of digitization on China's economy and society.
