2019 Symposium on the Strategic Environment of Northeast Asia and Sino-ROK Relations in the New Era held in SIIS

Feb. 18, 2019, the Shanghai Institute of International Studies and Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Shanghai co-organized the 2019 Symposium on the Strategic Environment of Northeast Asia and Sino-ROK Relations in the New Era. They had a discussion on evaluation of the Situation in Northeast Asia, Sino-Korean Relations, Inter-Korean Relations, US-DPRK Relations and China-US Relations.


Choi Youngsam, Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Shanghai and Chen Dongxiao, President of the Shanghai Institutes for International Studies made opening remarks at the meeting.

Chun Sunghwan, Deputy Consul of the Republic of Korea in Shanghai, Na Joongchul, Embassy of the Republic of Korea in China, Kim Heungkyu, Professor & Director of the China Policy Institutes of Ajou university, Chung Jaeheung. Depute Director of Research Planning of Sejong Institutes, Liu Ming, Professor of Institute of International Relations of SASS, Wang Weimin, Dean of School of International Studies and Public Adminstration, Shanghai University of Political Science and Law, Zheng Jiyong, Director of Center for Korean Studies of Fudan University, Zhan Debin, Director of the Korean Peninsula Research Center of Shanghai University of International Business and Economics, Wu Chunsi, Director of the Institute for International Strategic Studies of SIIS,Gong Keyu, Deputy Director of Center for Asia-Pacific Studies of SIIS attended the meeting.
