On March 1, 2019, Dr. Atisha Kumar, economist at NITI Aayog, Government of India gave a speech on India-US trade relations at SIIS. Prof. Liu Zongyi, secretariat-general of the Center for China and South Asian cooperation at SIIS chaired the speech. Prof. Hu Zhiyong, senior research fellow of the Institute of International Studies at SASS, Prof. Lin MIngwang, assistant president of the Institute of International Studies at Fudan University, Dr. Wang Weihua, research fellow of the Institute for Foreign Policy Studies and SIIS graduate students attended the event.
