On April 19, 2019, the delegation of National Defence University of Pakistan visited SIIS. Dr. Wu Chunsi, Director of the Institute for International Strategic Studies, Dr. Liu Zongyi, secretary-general of the Center for China-South Asia Cooperation, and Dr. Xue Chen, research fellow of the Institute for International Strategic Studies met with the delegation. Both sides exchanged views on Chinese foreign policy,  regional security in South Asia and China-Pakistan relations.
