On May 26, 2019, the Honorable Kevin Rudd, former Prime Minister of Australia, President of Asia Society Policy Institute visited Shanghai Institutes for International Studies. Professor Chen Dongxiao, President of SIIS and Professor Yang Jiemian, Chairman of Academic Affairs Council of SIIS met with Mr. Rudd and had a discussion on the future of China-US relations and China’s view of the world. Professor Xu Mingqi, President of Shanghai Institute for European Studies, Dr. Ye Qing, Assistant President of SIIS, and Dr. Shao Yuqun, Director of the Institute for Taiwan, Hong Kong& Macao Studies of SIIS joined the discussion.
