On May 27, 2019, Deputy Director Song Il-Hyok and Research Fellow Jon Min-Dok from the Institute for Disarmament and Peace of DPRK visited Shanghai Institutes for International Studies. SIIS President Chen Dongxiao met with them and exchanged views on US-DPRK relations, ROK-DPRK relations and the influence of China-US relations on the Korean Peninsula. Prof. Shao Yuqun, director of the institute for Taiwan, Hongkong and Macao Studies, Prof. Gong Keyu, deputy director of the Center for Asia-Pacific studies, Dr. Chen Youjun, Dr. Xuechen and Dr. Li Ning joined the discussion.
