On May 20, 2019, the delegation led by Mr. Nodar Kharshiladze, Head of the Center of Strategic Analysis of Georgia and the former first Vice Minister of Defense of Georgia visited SIIS. SIIS Vice President Yang Jian, Dr. Qiang Xiaoyun, Deputy Director of the Center for Russian & Central Asian Studies and Dr. Zhao Long, Assistant Director of the Institute for Global Governance Studies met with the delegation. Both sides exchanged views on the situation of the Transcaucasia and China-Georgia relations.
