On May 27, 2019, Dr. David Monyae, Co-Director of the Confucius Institute of the University of Johannesburg visited SIIS. Dr. Zha Xiaogang and Dr. Zhu Ming from the Center for West Asian & African Studies of SIIS met with him and had a discussion on China-South Africa relations and institutional cooperation.
