On June 14, 2019, a delegation of the NATO parliament members visited SIIS. SIIS president Chen Dongxiao received them and exchanged views on Sino-US relationship, Sino-EU relationship and Sino-Russia relationship, etc. Prof. Zhang Yinghong, director of the centre for European Studies and deputy director Dr. Long Jing, together with Dr. Zha Xiaogang and Dr. Xue Lei from the Institute for World Economy Studies of SIIS attended the meeting.
