On July 5th, 2019, Professor Steven E. Miller, director of International Security Program at Belfer Center of Harvard Kennedy School and editor-in-chief of International Security visited Shanghai Institutes for International Studies. Professor Yang Jiemian, chairman of academic affairs council of SIIS met with him and had a discussion on China-US relations and institutional cooperation.

Professor Miller also shared his insights with SIIS research fellows on nuclear security, cyber security and cooperation on academic journals. Dr. Ye Qing, assistant president of SIIS chaired the meeting and Dr. Zhang Zhexin, Dr. Xue Chen and Dr. Zhou Yiqi participated in the discussion.
