On 16 July 2019, Dr. Jeremy Paltiel, professor of Political Science at Carleton University Ottawa(Canada) visited SIIS. He had a discussion with Dr. Zhou Shixin, senior fellow of the Institute for Foreign Policy Studies, Dr. Zhang Zhexin, assistant director of the institute for Taiwan, Hongkong and Macao studies，Dr. Xue Chen, research fellow of Institute for International Strategic Studies on China-Canada relations, China-US relations and the transition of global order.
