On 17 July 2019, Dr. James C. Hsiung, Professor of Politics and International Law at New York University visited SIIS. He gave a speech on China-US relations and the Taiwan question. The lecture was chaired by Prof. Yan Anlin, vice president of SIIS. Research fellows from the Institute for Taiwan, Hong Kong & Macao Studies participated in the discussion.
