On Oct.25, 2019, Lieutenant General (ret.) David Deptula, former Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS) of the US Air Force and Dean of the Mitchell Institute for Aerospace Studies visited SIIS. Lt. Gen. Deptula had a discussion with Dr. Wu Chunsi, Director of the Institute for International Strategic Studies and Dr. Xue Chen on Sino-US relations.
