On November 9, 2019, SIIS President Chen Dongxiao met with the delegation from the National Committee on American Foreign Policy (NCAFP) led by Amb. Susan Elliot. Both sides exchanged views on China-American relations, Taiwan question, and the situation on the Korean Peninsular. The delegation members include Amb. Raymond Burghardt, President of the Pacific Century Institute, Ms. Susan Thornton, Senior Fellow at the Paul Tsai China Center at the Yale Law School, Mr. Mark Tokola, Vice President of the Korea Economic Institute of America, and Ms. Rorry Daniels, Deputy Project Director, Forum on Asia-Pacific Security.
