On May 18, 2020, the Shanghai Institutes for International Studies and the Centre for Strategic and International Studies of Indonesia jointly held a webinar themed “Enhancing Crisis Preparedness through Bilateral and Multilateral Cooperation”. The webinar was chaired by President Chen Dongxiao of SIIS and Mr. Jusuf Wanandi, Vice Chair of Board of Trustees of CSIS Foundation. Dr. Liu Kan, Dr. Wu Chunsi, Dr. Niu Haibin and Dr. Wang Yuzhu of SIIS made presentations respectively on public health, regional governance, disaster control and the economy at the webinar and had a discussion with Indonesian scholars.
