On March 15, 2021, James Heller，U.S. Consul General in Shanghai visited the Shanghai Institutes for International Studies. Prof. Chen Dongxiao, President of SIIS, and Prof. Yang Jiemian, Chairman of the Academic Affairs Council of SIIS, met with Consul General respectively. Both sides exchanged views on China-U.S. relations under the Biden administration and other international issues of common concern. Ms. Zhu Juhua, Director of the Department for International Exchanges and Dr. Su Liuqiang from the Institute for International Strategic Studies, SIIS participated in the meeting.
