China-Australia Regional Symposium
Introduction
This dialogue is an opportunity for Australian and Chinese thinkers and policy advisers to exchange views with experts from G20 and APEC partner countries on core global and regional economic issues, the ability of international institutions to address them, how G20 and APEC can facilitate their smooth resolution, including insight into possible G20 priorities for 2014.The dialogue will be held in a closed setting with senior participants selected by the hosting bodies on an invitation-only basis. About 10 experts from universities and think tanks, the private sector and government institutions from each country will be invited (that is, around 30 workshop participants in total). This would allow for expert interaction over a broad range of issues.
