SIIS and SIPRI will jointly hold the International Conference on “Protecting energy interests abroad: Chinese and European approaches and experiences” at the beginning of September 2013. The conference will delve into the energy security risk assessment and emergency response mechanisms, analyze the cases study of West Asian, Northern Africa and Central Asia, and conclude by examining possibilities for China-Europe cooperation.
